The 2010 Renault Clio S comes with a white 16-inch “Polar” alloy wheels. Among the other cosmetic changes, are a white front bumper insert and white “GT” rear spoiler, while to the sides and roof, some optional slightly less subtle white racing stripes catch the eye with an “S” incorporated into each band. Completing the package, are extra tinted rear windows and tailgate for a truly contemporary look.
With the Geneva Motor Show on the horizon, Renault has revealed a refreshed Clio for 2010. While the only version available in Australia is the range-topping RS 197, the Clio has been one of Europe’s top-selling cars since its introduction in 1990.
Set to fill the gap between the Clio and the Clio RS, the new GT version (above) will be available in an exclusive Malta Blue colour scheme and more aggressively styled front end.
It also features 17-inch alloy wheels on stiffer, lowered suspension, twin exhaust tips, subtle rear spoiler, bolstered sports seats emblazoned with the GT logo and drilled aluminium pedal covers.
Inside, Renault has teamed up with in-car navigation company TomTom to offer the optional (at about AU$980) Carminat navigation system, which will be fully-integrated into the dash. Easily updateable online, the Carminat offers a large colour screen, and will include traffic and speed limit information, as well as safety camera locations.
